Help us to protect the Irrawaddy dolphins of Myanmar’s Ayeyawaddy River by donating to the Burma Dolphin Conservation Fund. Donations are used to support fishing communities create and manage dolphin conservation zones, provide alternative livelihoods, and to help keep the river clean. We support four activities: 

• Village-led patrols of dolphin conservation zones to reduce illegal fishing practices that are dangerous for dolphins.
• Creation and expansion of dolphin conservation zones managed by communities.
• Alternative livelihood programs for fishermen to reduce pressure on fish populations and dolphins including microfinance.
• Waste management to keep the river and villages clean.
